Editorial and Peer Review Policy

Wissira Press is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality, editorial independence, and ethical integrity across all publications. The editorial and peer review framework is designed to ensure that all submitted works are evaluated fairly, rigorously, and transparently, in accordance with internationally accepted scholarly publishing practices.

Editorial Policy

Editorial decisions at Wissira Press are guided solely by scholarly merit, relevance to scope, originality, and ethical compliance. Editorial independence is upheld at all stages of the publication process, free from commercial, institutional, or personal influence.

Editors are responsible for:

  • Assessing submissions for scope alignment and academic suitability
  • Ensuring consistency with research integrity and ethical standards
  • Overseeing the review process and final publication decisions

All editorial governance and decision-making authority is administered through the United States–based publishing office.

Peer Review Process

Submissions that pass initial editorial screening are evaluated through an expert or peer review process appropriate to the publication type. Wissira Press employs recognized review models, including single-blind, double-blind, or expert review, depending on the nature and scope of the work.

The peer review process aims to:

  • Assess scholarly quality, originality, and methodological soundness
  • Evaluate clarity, structure, and contribution to the field
  • Provide constructive, objective feedback to authors

Reviewer identities and manuscript content are treated as confidential throughout the evaluation process.

Ethics in Review

Wissira Press adheres to strict ethical standards during editorial and peer review. Editors and reviewers are required to:

  • Declare and manage any conflicts of interest
  • Maintain confidentiality of submitted materials
  • Evaluate manuscripts objectively and without bias
  • Report any concerns related to plagiarism, data fabrication, or ethical misconduct

Submissions involving human or sensitive data are expected to comply with recognized ethical research standards, including appropriate approvals where applicable.

Editorial Decisions and Revisions

Following completion of the review process, editorial decisions may include:

  • Acceptance
  • Acceptance subject to revision
  • Rejection

Authors receiving revision requests are expected to address reviewer and editorial comments within the stipulated timeframe. Revised submissions may be subject to further evaluation before a final decision is made. All decisions are communicated with clear academic justification.

Transparency and Accountability

Wissira Press is committed to transparency and accountability in editorial operations. The editorial and peer review framework is periodically reviewed to ensure alignment with evolving best practices in academic publishing and research ethics.
